One of my favorite designers, Rick Owens, will be in Seattle this week speaking to buyers of his clothing line. Rick Owen's started his line in 1994 and was made famous by his signature super distressed leather jackets that inspired feverish devotion among fans like Madonna and Courtney Love. The pictures above are highlights from Rick Owens 2009 Fall/Winter Runway collection which was amazing, I don't love his Spring/Summer 2010 Runway collection as much, but definately worth checking out as well.
Rick Owens also has 2 other lines for men and women, DRKSHDW and Lilies. DRKSHDW is an amazing clothing line with some of the most unique textures and pieces I have seen. It is carried in Seattle both at Totokaelo for women and Barneys New York for both men and women. Check out his website here for all 3 of his lines.
