April's HomeGirl is the Up and Coming British Pop Star Lolene. Born in Bristol where she relocated in London to join Sony BMG's latest girl group. The singer then moved to Los Angeles where she was signed as a songwriter by J.R. Rotem (producer to Britney Spears, Rihanna, Jay Sean and many more) to Sony Capitol Records.

Lolene is set to release her album, Electric Hotel, summer 2010 and her first official single, Rich, will be released on April 19th. Here's why Lolene is HomeGirl of the Month.
